Steem Women Club Contest #13 | What Can You Do And Get With 50 Steem? Do you earn income with Steem? By @Zmoreno

First of all, I am very grateful for the support I have received since I started posting in this community; many people have been very kind to me and I have felt very welcome. Since I was introduced to the wonderful opportunity to post on steemit relatively recently (mid-January), I have searched various communities for the opportunity to feel comfortable posting my content; and finally, I feel that in SteemWomenClub I have found my place to share the knowledge I have of makeup and beauty.

Regarding this contest, which I think is a great opportunity to share the experiences that each of us has had in this wonderful community, I confess that steemit has given me hope to move forward despite the difficult situation that is currently developing in my country. I am from Venezuela, and I will soon go to university.

To contextualize a little about the situation in my country, our currency (the Bolivar) is currently suffering a huge devaluation, one of the worst in the history of the world. Below I show the values of the Bolivar at today's STEEM exchange rate.

Because of the enormous devaluation (as you can see, 50 STEEMS is 112 million bolivars) the dollar value is mostly used in the streets of Venezuela.

A minimum wage in Venezuela is 1800000 bolivars, that is, approximately 0.9 cents of a dollar, so we understand that in Venezuela, if you do not look for an alternative to survive, you are completely lost. Currently in Venezuela most people are looking for ways to survive on a daily basis without thinking much about the future; food and basic necessities, hygiene, etc. are bought.

Understanding the context that is developing in my country, the truth is that 50 STEEMS would be an extraordinary support for any Venezuelan. With this you could buy food for a week or a little less for a family of 4 people tightly; however, I have the support of my parents for this, so in my case I joined Steemit for two reasons: to invest in what I am passionate about: makeup; and to help my younger brother (he is 12 years old) to get his desired things too.

Truly my earnings from steemit have been a blessing to me. Little by little I have been able to obtain the items I dreamed so much about posting here, so yes, what I have earned here is much more than enough for me; I have been able to invest in my dreams and save.

Makeup in Venezuela is quite expensive, as they are mostly export products. These earnings that I get from steemit I use directly for it, because when I graduate, I plan to start doing makeup for other people as a trade with which to improve my family's economic situation. In addition, I also plan to save a portion of what I save here to support my parents in paying for my college.

Below I share with you the things I have bought with my earnings from steemit since I started posting in January of this year.

It's worth noting that we've also gone to ice cream shops and bought a lot of snacks (which we wouldn't be able to do without this extra income), so Steemit has made us both super happy. It's been an improvement in our lives and a beacon of hope.

I have applied my makeup many, many times with the products described above, which greatly improved my technique.
