Steem Women Club Contest #13: What Can IDo And Get With 50 Steem? Do I earn income with Steem? (100% POWERED UP)

INTRODUCTION
Hello great ladies from all the parts of the world. It's your girl again @tenguhatanga making my entry for the contest of the week. It is quite and interesting and reflecting one as it has to do with what we are a looking for on our daily lives. Having money is one thing and properly managing it to create positive impact is another. Kindly read through my post and see how having 50 Steem will be used by me.

MY ENTRY

Looking at the current trend in the rise of the value of steem one begin to smile and forecasting great achievements with the steemit platform. These past few months and days has wuthnessed some increase or rise in the value of steem and everyone is excited about it even myself. At the moment the value of steem stands at $1.21 with an equivalence of about 655 in FCFA. So having 50 Steem you wi have an equivalence of 50*655 having 32750FCFA. That's a big one compared to some months back.

What can I do with this amount in my country?
Having this amount I can do two things firstly I can invest in my education (transportation to school) and steemit activities like recruiting and delegating to newbies. Seeing how my course mates became interested in steemit I will get more facilities to be virtually present with them always so I can assist them in the recruitment and settlement process on steemit. So to do this I will need a universal mobile WiFi box which will cost 15000frs, one month subscription for 6000frs , 6000frs to be used for transportation and the rest 5750frs for food for one week.

Describe the importance of steem in your country
Owning to the fact that steemit is still not yet known in my country unlike Nigeria and other countries many people are gradually picking interest in it. There have been some Cryptocurrency platforms like Bitcoin, Litcoin and others that emerged in Cameroon and many people lost money so everyone became sceptical about blockchain network. But with the features of Steemit people seem to love it and want to get engaged in it. This maybe one of the many blockchain network that will create positive impact in the lives of people. Steemit is not just a blockchain network but an educational center where you develop writing skills, increase your network and enables cross cultural exchange. This is so encouraging and motivating which makes users engage more. Steemit is been seen as a means of income generation through investing in steem and writing and earning from quality and original contents. Before now I didn't like anything about blockchain but getting to know steemit has been a great push up to a positive side. I now take it as part of my job to connect on steemit.

Is earning enough on this platform for you?
From the beginning I used to wonder how people make earnings but I got to know the secret which lies is constantly posting good posts, investing in steem.With a low steem power the earning was low. So in order to do this I set a goal on growing my steem power and joined the curation trial too hence I can earn reward through curation rewards and authors rewards. That way you earn but at times I think it's not enough though and would love to have more but with hard work, persistence and patience it will come. From my last week's earnings (with a declining involvement with pressure from school) it can be seen on the pictures below for both curation and authors rewards.

Do you make a profit by investing? Why not?

Off course I do make profits. Recently I participated in the power up on steemAlive community save4soar which I powered up 111steem with the rise in steem I am actually going to make some profits. Engaging in the #save2soar project is another way of investing in steem thereby planning ahead for sunny days. Also setting my posts on power-up 100% is another means of making profits and with my 100% conviction I will make more by investing.

Or do you use it for your daily expenses?
One can't say you don't have daily expenses/needs and so some of my profits or earnings have been used to solve some important issues concerning health and education. Using part to keep up with life was necessary while leaving part helped me gain a balance on the platform. It was quite a good and encouraging amount gotten.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion 50 Steem is a good amount which can take of both my Steemit activities and transportation to school for about two weeks.
