Celebrating A Happy Eid ul-Fitr Festival After A Month Of Continues Fasting.

Happy Eid Ul-Fitr to everyone here.

Is is another blessed day for us to live and dream. I’m so excited today as I’m here to share with you how I celebrated my “Eid Ul-Fitr” festival. After fasting in the month Rahamadan 30 days without skipping even a day, it has finally come to past and we rejoice with the eid festival.

Eid Ul-Fitr is a festival celebrated by muslims to mark the end of Rahamadan. This festival is celebrated every year after the end of Rahamadan. It is a festival that involves so many things like going to perform prayers in the morning, greeting and paying visits to family members and relatives, rejoicing and having fun together. When the period of this festival is approaching you see people buying and sewing new clothes and a whole lot of this just to appear nicely on that day.

Today being the Eid festival, I woke up early this morning and performed all my morning duties. After which I helped my mother in cooking the food we will be sharing to our love ones. We were done by 7:30 in the morning, and started preparing to head towards the praying grounds. It was announced last week Friday that we will be performing our Eid prayers exactly at 8:30 am. So everyone was in hurry to finish fast and get to the praying grounds before it gets late.

After We We’re Done With The Eid Prayers

I bathed and kept on my new clothes that I last bought during the last market day. I finished wearing my dress and started going to the praying grounds with my senior brother. We got there and the place was already filled and everyone was happily reciting the dua we usually recite during the Eid festival. I was so happy and also went and stood on the praying mat.

People kept coming and everywhere was packed with human beings nicely dressed and reciting the Eid dua. The scheduled time was up and we started praying. It is just a two rakat prayer so we did not keep long in praying and was done in less than four minutes. After the prayers no one is expected to stand up, only the imam will stand up and give a sermon to the crowd. After the sermon people then started dispersing. I used to time to take pictures with my friends and love ones.

It was really nice associating with everyone. I finished taking the pictures and we started going back home. I came home and our landlord sermon everybody and started sharing snacks to everyone. This day is a day of rejoicing as people will be paying each other visits and buying gifts to their love ones. Food is another common thing during this festival, there is always much food which we can not even finished and will have to reserve some for the following day.

At The Eid Grounds

My mother was already home waiting for me to return then we start sharing the food we cooked. I went inside and change my clothes to my normal home dress. My mother started serving the food and directing me to where each and every bowl will go.

I started sharing the food. This is mainly the morning part of the festival, did not have anything to do in the evening, although some people will go out to nice locations and have fun with their families and keep rejoicing till the next day. So after I was done sharing the food , I took my bath, ate and kept on my clothes again. Now we were now going to pay visits to our relatives.

Thank You All!!

You really had a blast. If there I admire about the Eid Ul-Fitr is the coming together and setting their differences aside to eat and celebrate. They were also really generous to me. I also partook in the celebration and I was really. You look really stunning by the way. Nice post
