Steem Women Club Community Contest #15 | DIY(Do İt Yourself) Art | MY MOM'S DIY MUG TREE RACK by @strawberrryc
Hello beautiful women of Steem Women Club community! We all know Moms are always the best in everything. So today, I want to share to this community of creative and lovely women my mom's DIY Mug Tree Rack using drift wood in two simple steps. My mom also requested me to share it with you guys and I am proud and excited to do so!
Say hi to my mom, Momma Luisa!
She's a loving and caring mom and lately she's been doing lots of gardening in our small backyard. She's always so creative in finding ways to decorate our house and she loves collecting mugs too! So she came up with an idea to use the old drift wood in our garage and make it into a beautiful mug rack!
In this DIY Mug Tree Rack, you'll be needing:
Step-by-step guide in making the DIY Mug Tree Rack:
-The first step is to paint the drift wood. You can choose any color of your liking, my Mom chose dark brown because it compliments our brown themed house and it's warm in the eyes.
- After painting the drift wood and letting it dry, drill the eye pin hooks on spaces you want to, it can be by pattern or just randomly like how my mom did it.
- Lastly, hang your mugs on the pin hooks! And tadah! It's done.
It's only a simply DIY craft but I hope my mom inspires you to be creative and try it out for yourselves. You can use other types of wood or hooks. You can also hang other things like letter, figurines, pictures, anything you like. You can also add lights and other accessories for decoration!
