Finding The Right Body Lotion For Your Skin Type
Body lotion is that chemical substance which we put on our bodies after showering to provide our skin with moisture making us look fresh. This is a booming industry as specialists everywhere keep working on new for.ulas to attract consumers and help those with skin issues as well.
Since whatever we put on our bodies is absorbed into our skin, we have to make sure that our chosen body lotion works well for us.
What many people are not yet aware of is that our skin is different from one person to another. Also the skin on one person is different in different people.
The major different skin types are the dry skin, the oily skin and then the normal skin. Dry skin produces very little sebum and is thus always dry and needs way more moisture to remain soft and supple. Oily skin produces more sebum and thus gets too oily at times so it doesn't need so much more moisture. While normal skin produces a normal amount of sebum and needs an average amount of of moisture. So knowing all these, we know that the body lotion we choose should be what we need.
I personally have a very dry skin type. But I was not aware of it neither did I know that it matters hen picking a body lotion. I remember going through all sorts body lotions growing up. Carrot based lotions tended to lighten my skin while lemon based darkened me. They also did nothing for my skin.
I finally ended up using aloe vera based lotions. But none really ever managed to help my skin. I managed what I had for a while until some weeks back, I had a wonderful experience with Dermasil body lotion. I got two types, one was aloe based and the other was specially made for dry skin.
The first time I tried it, my goodness!!! It was like heaven on my skin. I never knew my skin could be so moisturizer throughout the day. It really felt wonderful.
Getting to find the right body lotion for your skin is very good as it helps your skin to always be in good shape. And as a small tip, let's not forget to always remain hydrate as water is our greatest skin care product.

This is an eye opener but it's always difficult finding stin type creams because some company don't say the truth about their products. You will keep trying till you get the right type. Thanks for sharing @rosita-nkefor.
Most in the cosmetic industry do a lot of false advertising. And sometimes we fail to realise that our skin reacts differently to different lotions. What may work for some people might not work for you.

Personally, I don't even know my skin type and I have been trying all types of body lotions like you , carrots, lemon, and coconut based lotion happens to be better on my body but very expensive for my liken

It is always good to know. And I know many dermatologist made body lotions are actually not as expensive as the ones always advertised.

I feel you. Do try it and if it doesn't work out, keep looking for dermatologist based lotions made specifically for dry skin.
