First of all thanks God for the gift of another beautiful day, As we all know in our day to day activities we need to put God first in all our doings so that at the end we can achieve great and better things. Without him we can do nothing. I am bringing to you: A DAILY DIGEST AND BENEFIT from the word of God in the book of Mark 5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”

Please do read the whole chapter and note your lessons and views. Memorise the verse and answer the questions within the script.
- FEAR NOT! ONLY BELIEVE.
Have you noticed that whenever you want to take a step of faith in obedience to God’s word, your mind is bombarded with threatening thoughts of negative consequences, failure, disappointment, and unfruitful results should you dare to take to follow God’s word? Even comments from friends and families sometimes help to stir up these thoughts in our minds. These negative thoughts and words create the opportunity for fear which paralyses our ability to put our faith to use leading us to doubt and unbelief.
Someone once defined fear as an acronym of False Evidence Appearing Real. How very true. You can’t have the evidence of things not seen - which is faith and hold unto false evidence at the same time. You cannot walk in the reality of God’s word and the reality of your situation at the same time. Isaiah 53:1 asks a question “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?”. It therefore suggests that the arm of God (which is the power of God) is only revealed to those who believe in the report of the Lord. God wants His word to become our reality.
The reality of the ruler of the synagogue was that his daughter has just been confirmed dead but the reality of Jesus wants him to walk in was “Do not be afraid; only believe.” What is that physical, emotional, financial, mental and social reality that you currently find yourself in? Jesus is offering a new reality and He is saying “Do not be afraid; only believe.”
Please note that to walk in this reality is not always easy at first. However, as you continue to walk with Jesus in the reality He offers, like the ruler of the synagogue, your evidence will overtake your current reality and your deliverance, breakthrough, freedom, revival and restoration will appear to all in Jesus name
So as you step out today, make God’s word your reality and “fear not, only believe!”
Worship and pray.>
