MY COOKING PROCESS

  • When cooking I always love to wash out all my pot, rinse my ingredients that needs rinsing before I make use of them, so I rinse the tomatoes, pepper, onions, and blend them separately, put on my gas to dry out the tomatoes, while I go ahead to chop the remaining onions, green pepper, and carrot, set aside.

  • Then I washed my chicken with some salt, put it in the big pot, added my chop onion, Knorr cubes, benny chicken stock, salt to taste, some blended pepper, bay leaf, curry and Euroma thyme, now I pour in a reasonable amount of water, so I could have enough stock for the rice.
    IMG_20211224_153931_562.jpg chicken stock.
  • Next I per boiled my rice in another pot on my electric burner, allowed it to boil for about 15mins ,poured it on a bowl and set aside.
    IMG_20211225_125721_952.jpgper boiled rice.
  • Now when all was set, I put my pot on fire, poured in the vegetable oil I don’t add too much, because too much of oil causes the rice to burn out fast without drying up., added my onions, green pepper, ginger powder, curry thyme ,nutmeg and a pinch of salt. stir fried it for 30 seconds.

At this point I poured in my sachet paste, allowed to fry for 2 minutes ,in 2mins I poured in the dry tomatoes, followed by my blended onions, added the chicken stock and minced beef and allow it to steamer for 5 minutes, bring it down from the gas because am about to add my powdered Knorr cubes, then my rice, gently until am done mixing all of it, I use my wooden spoon to turn the rice, then put it back on fire.

  • Finally I flour my chicken to make it crunchy, and set it on the pan to fry, when this was done frying, I turn all the pieces into my secret sauce recipe I had made, that made my chicken taste to crave for. And there you have it..
