SELF APPRECIATION ☺️☺️

The world is a funny thing. People are constantly tbrowing around meaningless cliches that they seem to believe but when you take a closer look, it is mere hypocrisy.

You know we watch movies and on these movies there is always that beautiful lady who seems to have everything but love? I came to a realization of late.

MOVIE STORIES ARE NOT GOT FROM OUTER SPACE.

Often when we watch movies, we tell ourselves that alot of the things that those actors are trying to voice out are just from a script but are they really? Are they just from the script? I don't think so.

I have been making some kin observations about myself and the people around me. This piece is centred around that.

SELF APPRECIATION
There are so many beautiful girls that I see on a daily basis. Girls who are not stupid but smart but here is the thing...they say that beauty lies on the hands of the beholder. All the while, I thought that the beholder is the person who holds the beauty and if I am right, then all I can see is the irony behind that statement.

You will be so surprised at how many girls in this day and age have zero self appreciation in them. I often used to ask myself why there are beautiful and smart women out there who stay in toxic and unhealthy relationships despite having all the facts at hand. And the only thing that comes to mind is that donot know what they are worth.

Self appreciation and knowing one's worth is something that I have undermined so much over the last few years but am glad that I came toy senses soon enough.

If there is one thing that I have learnt, it is that am enough. Iam strong and I can take on the world. I feel like many of us have that capability but we don't know it because we constantly refuse to give ourselves any credit.
Ask yourself this...

HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU TELL YOURSELF "WELL DONE"
HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU TELL YOURSELF "I AM PROUD OF ME"
HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU SIT DOWN AND SAY TO YOURSELF,
"YOU CAN DO IT..PUSH ON"?

They say charity begins at home so how do you expect anyone to appreciate you when you don't appreciate yourself? Take that as food for thought.
