Happy Mother's Day to all the steemian women and to the amazing mothers in the world! To my dear mother Ester Festin Fajutrao who is not with us for the past years, she remains to be with us in the deepest part of our heart. My mama Ester is a nurse by profession but she did not work in the hospital but instead she dedicated her service in our beautiful home where she practiced her profession with passion, love and dedication taking care of her six children.

I am very honored that she was my mother because I learned the beauty of life to its fullest. My mama has very inspiring principles that not only made her a good mom but it also helped us follow good rule and the essence of giving importance to other people. She always tells us that when there is an obstacle, see it as an opportunity and couple it with prayers.
Behind my mama is always my father who both I would say are very much in love with each other.


I believe that behind the success of my father is always my mother,
and vice versa they really compliment each other. The trials and pressures of my parents' life made them fulfilled, and had their meaningful marriage. Mama Ester is a homebody person and my papa is the one shopping for all of us. She is contented being with us most of the time, she send us off to school every morning and she prepare lunch for us and in the afternoon pick us up from school. Tutoring after supper is the most tasking of all.. though I fell sleepy during our tutorial but my mama used to hug and tickle me every time I doze off. She give me a glass of water to cool me off.
Educated by our mother is the best gift she gave us. And in return our diplomas was only the best gift we gave to her that made her so proud of us. If only she is here today I would give her the best gift of all..my presence ,the company of my kids and the precious moment of my grandchildren.


For me Mother's day is everyday, it's not easy to put your feelings into words just only for a day. Every moment of her life with me I do it with affection not through words but my presence because I am her sidekick. From marketing, to taking care of my siblings, down to all the household chores, mama and I are partners. Those are my gift for mama and she appreciated it very much.

She might be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. I do miss my mama Ester.

Where ever she is now I am sure she is smiling because this is the first time she joined a contest like this. Thank you.

There are no words that can express my thanks for the beautiful women of Steem Women Club community. And to the MOD official in SteemWomen Club for giving us the joy of sharing about the most important woman in our life.
