My Fruit-infused[DETOX]Water and its benefits

Thank God it's Friday, Yaaayyyy!
Today on my blog i will be sharing this simple, interesting and healthy method of infusing water to make it tastier, healthier and encourage more consumption of water.

Detox water

Detox[from the word Detoxification] water as many will call it is just Water that has been infused with fruits, vegetables, or herbs, when either or a combination of these is added to water to improve the taste or the property of such water.

Water is very important in Human Diet, as water on its a is a class of food. Water aids Digestion and helps flush out many toxins from the Body, this been said the question why infuse water poops up.

Why infuse water?*

Water is a tasteless and clear liquid, its its importance cut across a varied wide range. Its importance as part of our diet is what i will be looking into in this post, a lot of people find it very difficult to Drink water and some would even forget to take water after a meal, opps! To bad if you ask me.
Since water is tasteless, some people would always go for different types of soda(soft drinks) or juice rather than take water. In a bid to encourage more consumption of water amongst such people and to improve the taste and craving to drink more water than soda, Fruit-infused water was birthed.
Drinking water first thing in the morning has always helped with my metabolism but since i started infusing fruits/vegetables/herbs in my water it got even better and this is sometimes that gives me joy and i decided to share a few tip on it.

Benefits of water in corporating with fruit infusion.

  1. Helps with Metabolism
  2. Aids weight loss
  3. Help flush out toxins from the body
  4. Quenches thirst
  5. Contributes to a complete diet
  6. Prevents dehydration
    This(just to mention a few)and many more are its importance.

Now to my simple method of infusing water

My Infused Water Recipe

For this recipe i will be using a combination of Fruit, vegetable and herbs.
FRUIT:- KEY LIME
VEGETABLE:- CUCUMBER
HERB:- GINGER
MAJOR COMPONENT:-WATER

Preparation

->In a Jug, pour in clean drinking water and set aside
-> wash your fruits,vegetables or Herbs and slice them in to bits or chunks depending on perferences.

-> Add your sliced fruits, vegetables or herbs into the water and cover tightly
-> Allow to sit for 24hours or overnight in the refrigerator

Our Fruit-infused [Detox]water is ready. So refreshing and Guilt-free, drink 1st thing in the morning to aid metabolism but can also be enjoyed anytime of the day.

My infused Water is ready

Drink the recommended amount of water daily and watch your health improve for the better.

The recommended amount of water intake daily :-The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is: About 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men. About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women.

I don't really like drinking water, I don't know why, I can go two days and maybe drink water like twice in those two days, I love this method, would try it out or either try to detox mine in a different way.

I can't stand water when am sick too, but this kinda helped me especially when i use sweet fruits.

That's true, water when sick is something else. I will try it out with a sweet fruit.

I wish my friends would see this because I love drinking water alot, I am tagged by my friends as fish.

It is healthy for us to drink water, although I would have love to try the fruit infused water but wouldn't because I can't stand the taste of ginger and lime.
