Greetings to @steemwomensclub community and all the beautiful women out there. I hope you all are doing great.

It is always good to grow plants near you. Today I am sharing tips to make a DIY hanging planter out of a plastic bottle. As we all know reusing the waste is saving the environment. Here are the steps.

DIY HANGING PLANTER

Let's start,

MATERIAL REQUIRED

▪︎ Plastic bottle
▪︎ Jute Rope
▪︎Plant (any propagating plant with have thin stem).
▪︎ Soil
▪︎ Knife, Scissors and screwdriver

HOW TO PREPARE

▪︎ STEP 1: Take a plastic bottle and cut out its base with the help of knife. Blade of the knife should be heated before cutting it would reduce the efforts. Now hot the screw driver and punch the bottle as shown in the image.

(Use plants which can easily Propagating from the node area such as any type of portulaca, turtle vine, money plant, coleus, wondering jew, mint cuttings, english ivy, etc.)

▪︎ STEP 2: Now fill half the bottle with soil and place the plant in the hole. Make sure it grips well in the soil.

▪︎ STEP 3: Now fill the rest of the planter with soil and then place the plants in rest of the holes.

(Make sure that you don't press the soil, it will make easy for us to insert the cuttings of portulacas into the hole.)

▪︎ STEP 4: Now insert a jute rope into the top holes and now our planter is ready to hang.

(Make sure to water your DIY planter thoroughly.)
