Ecopractice is present in my daily life, a contest like this has encouraged me a lot because it encourages me to recycle, in most households it is up to us to deal with waste and decide what to throw away and what to reuse and the more conscious we are in this aspect the more we will benefit the environment.
I chose to reuse a plastic bottle that as we all know takes many years to degrade, so I decided to make with it this beautiful pencil holder in the shape of a whale.

La ecopráctica esta presente en mi vida diaria, un concurso como este me ha animado mucho porque incentiva el reciclaje, en la mayor parte de los hogares nos toca a nosotras tratar con los desechos y decidir que se vota y que se reúsa y entre más conscientes seamos en este aspecto más favoreceremos al medio ambiente.
Yo escogí reusar una botella de plástico que como bien sabemos tarda muchos años en degradarse, así que decidí hacer con ella este hermoso porta lápices con forma de Ballena.
Below I show you in the photo gallery that I took with my cell phone, the process of transforming a plastic bottle into a super functional object such as a pencil holder.
A continuación les muestro en la galería de fotos que tomé con mi móvil, el proceso de transformación de una botella de plástico en un objeto super funcional como lo es un portalápices.
Materials:
A plastic bottle.
Blue glossy paper.
Scissors.
Payment.
Materiales:
Una botella de plástico.
Papel lustrillo azul.
Tijeras.
Pagamento.
PROCESS | PROCESO
Explanation: Cut the base of the bottle and make the mouth of the whale. On the back of the lustrillo paper we draw the tail and the whale's fins, then we cut them out.
To finish giving the whale look to the plastic bottle, we make the eyes and glue them on. We do the same with the fins and glue the tail to the bottle's beak.
Explicación: Cortamos la base de la botella y hacemos la boca de la ballena. En el reverso del papel lustrillo dibujamos la cola y las aletas de ballena, luego las recortamos.
Para terminar de darle aspecto de ballena a la botella plástica, hacemos los ojos y se los pegamos. Igual hacemos con las aletas y la cola la pegamos en el pico de la botella.
By gluing the glue on the beak we prevent the pencils from coming out and we can lose them, to give it the touch of water jet I put a blue marker in a hole I made on the top.
Al pegar la cola en el pico evitamos que los lápices salgan y los podamos perder, para darle el toque de chorro de agua le coloqué un marcador azul en un orificio que le hice en la parte de arriba.

As you can see in the gallery of photos taken with my phone exclusively for steemit, it is very easy to make this whale-shaped pencil holder using a plastic bottle.
And don't forget that reusing everyday materials you have at home is a fun and inexpensive way to create and customize all kinds of useful objects. I propose you to rescue all those plastic bottles you accumulate to make endless things.
Como puedes ver en la galería de fotos tomadas con mi móvil exclusivamente para steemit, es muy sencillo hacer este portalápices con forma de ballena utilizando una botella plástica.
Y no olvides que reutilizar materiales cotidianos que tienes en casa es una manera divertida y barata de crear y personalizar todo tipo de objetos útiles. Te propongo rescatar todas esas botellas de plástico que acumulas para hacer un sin fin cosas.
