Steem Women Club Community: Chain of Goodness//Act of Kindness// Rescuing a Baby Goat

Hello beautiful people of steemit. How have you been? I hope you are doing great despite the hardship that we are going through in this time of pandemic. Today I will be sharing with you my experience in rescuing a kid or a baby goat. I remember a writer who authored a book which talks about saving a goat. She emphasizes in her book that goats are just as lovable as any pet we could have. She also enumerated the reasons on why we should love goats. I am always amazed of her passion to adopt and rescue goats. This time I was able to experience rescuing a baby goat. My father named the baby goat 'Bossing'. Four days ago her mother gave birth to him. It was a hard delivery for the mother. My mother and father really tried their best to help the mother goat to give birth to his baby. They pull the baby goat harder for it to come out. Luckily the baby goat got out and he was really weak. The mother could not feed the baby goat properly because the mother goat is also weak. What I did is that I feed the baby goat a bottle of milk which I bought from the store. I put him in a safe and warm place inside our house so he could survive.

Everyday I feed him milk. Thanks God after how many days he was gaining strength and could walk around. But his mother is still weak but my father is consistently taking care of the mother goat. We are really hoping that the mother could recuperate from the delivery. Until now I am still feeding the baby goat. I was really moved because just like us they too are part of this world. They co-exist with us. And just like us, they also need some care for them to survive. And I would like commend those individuals and even organizations who are really promoting the welfare of the animals. They are doing a great job in their advocacy.
