My Introductory Post to SteemWomen Club Community

Olah beautiful Steemians, my name is Jinky. My close friends call me Jinks and Jinkay. I’m so happy to be back here in Steemit after how many years of hiatus. It was probably because I was too busy with my life few years ago. I was pushed to join again because I was motivated by this community steemwomenclub. Reading blogs from different members in this community gives me so much inspiration. Inspiration to show the other side of me as a woman, inspiration to help other people and inspiration to share my experiences through this beautiful platform.

I am a teacher by profession. I’ve been teaching for like 7 years already and it gives me so much joy to be able to teach and help the Filipino children. I believe being a teacher has a great social responsibility, hence you will be preparing the children for their future as well as the future of our country Philippines. And by that, teachers are preparing the youth to become a responsible global citizen.

I am also a mental health advocate and a member of Philippine Psychological Association. I believe that having a sound mind leads to living a better life. My group provides psychological first aid and debriefing whenever our services are needed specially in times of disasters. It is truly a blessing when you have the capacity to help other people in so many ways.

By the way I’m still single but I have many kids in our house. Meet my nieces and nephew. They are the cutest, aren’t they? Haha kidding aside, they are my favorite playing buddies. I am such a spoiler Tita to them. They give me inspiration every day and I love them so much.

During my free time, I help my mother in gardening. We love to grow different kinds of plants may it be indoor or outdoor. Yes, I am also a certified ‘PLANTITA’. Gardening is such a great stress reliever. It actually helps us in fighting our anxiety in this time of pandemic.

I wanna show my appreciation to this community #steemwomenclub for providing us opportunity to highlight the strength of women and to the people who are doing their best in restoring humanity through their act of kindness.
