MY INTRODUCTORY POST TO STEEMWOMEN CLUB.

Hi,

My name is Gifty Duku and I go by the username @gifty1.
I am 22 years old.

I was born and bread in the southern part of Ghana, to be precise in kumasi but I come from Tamale in the Northen part of the country.
I come from a family of 5 where I am the only girl.
Being in a family where I am the only girl I'd really exciting because all of my brothers always make sure that I am fine.

My mom works at a primary school in our area where she teaches the kids English.
My dad owns a private hospital where he spends most of his time attending to patients and taking care of people who are in need of medical care.

All my other siblings are currently married and they have left the house so I am mostly at home with my mom, we do have a lot of girl time😊.

I am currently not in school but I have completed shs and at home currently.
But I am working as a shop attendant in a printing press.
Working in a printing press has been really exciting so far cause I meet people of different backgrounds everyday.

Even though I am not in school currently, I will be continuing my education to the University level by God's grace next year.
I aspire to go to a nursing school where I sill train as a nurse and come out in the near future as someone who is ready to help the sick and less privileged.

Ever since I was a child I have always dreamt of becoming a nurse simply because my dad has made me fallen in love with the profession.
Even though his hospital is a private hospital, they mostly attend to people's medical needs for free and I love that.
I hope to become like that oneday.

I also have a dream of opening and managing an orphanage oneday where we will cater for the needs of children who have been deprived of motherly and fatherly love.
It is my dream that I will be able to get this orphanage running in no time but in the near future.

I wouldn't say I have something I love doing but I love doing a bit of everything.
I love listening to music, reading novels, watching movies especially Indian series.
And not to forget I love cooking too.

My favourite food is a fufu, I enjoy this food when I prepare it by myself.
I just love my cooking😊.

I love being indoors particularly because of the hot nature of the weather in the North,
So after closing from work I do not do anything or go anywhere but I go back home and help my mom do the cooking.
I go out once in a while with my friends to have a drink or two with them on weekends.

But when all is said and done, I am a kind and loving person.

My profound gratitude to the beautiful women in this community @steemwomenclub.
I pray snd hope I will be able to help the community grow and assure the leaders of to the platform @svm038,@saracampero and @ngoenyi that I will work hard.
