5 FAVORITE PLACES IN MY CITY LHOKSEUMAWE, ACEH-INDONESIA

It's great to be back here to share what's interesting in this great community. Now, this time I'm trying to take part in the #19 contest about 5 favorite place in my city. Don't forget beforehand, I want to convey warm greetings to my friends @svm038 and @nadiaturrina who always support steemwomen around the world.

Today I want to participate in the steemwomen club #20 contest. The contest theme is very interesting to me. I will show to all my beautiful friends in this wonderful community, about 5 favorite places in my city that I often visit

1. ISLAMIC CENTRE MOSQUE

The Islamic Center is not just a Grand Mosque in the heart of Lhokseumawe City. This building has various other functions, for the purpose of developing and studying Islam in the former state of Samudera Pasai.

Built since 2001, the Islamic Center has stalled several times. Now, the mosque and various other facilities have been completed, making it an icon of Lhokseumawe City. This three-story place of worship can accommodate 10,000 worshipers. The facilities include a library, guest house, madrasah diniyah with 12 study rooms, two laboratory rooms, and there are several other facilities. The mosque, which is an icon of Lhoksumawe City, stands on an area of 16,475 square meters.

Many tourists who visit Lhokseumawe stop by the Islamic Center to simply admire its beauty which adopts the splendor of mosques in the Middle East.

2. UJONG BLANG BEACH

Ujong Blang Beach Lhokseumawe is still an attraction for local and foreign tourists to spend weekend vacations with family.

Of the many beaches on the coast of Lhokseumawe, Ujong Blang Beach is the most famous and is located about three kilometers to the north of Lhokseumawe City, precisely in Banda Sakti District.

Apart from being a marine destination, Ujong Blang Beach is also a culinary paradise. Along the coast there are various kinds of Acehnese specialties such as rujak and Aceh noodles.

There is nothing wrong if the beach that stores natural beauty becomes a target place for families to spend the weekend with family.

3. ACEH MUSEUM

This museum is the only one managed by the government under the Department of Education and Culture, Lhokseumawe City.

A number of historical objects are stored in the museum, such as swords, necklaces, fishing gear, the ancient Koran, spears, gold coins, gold accessories, ceramics, jars, and kande (lighting tools).

4. PAHIT LIDAH CAFE

This cafe is a favorite place to relax with family and friends. In terms of the name is unique, maybe so that customers immediately remember the unique name of this cafe. The food menu available is quite diverse and tastes very delicious.

This cafe is very fun to relax especially in the afternoon or evening. Plus the location is very calming, floating right on the outskirts of the river mouth.

Usually every Saturday night and Sunday night always features live music. So,
if friends want to listen to live music while enjoying the atmosphere of a cafe on the edge of the river with many delicious food menus, bitter tongue cafe is the right choice.

5. RIYADHAH PARK

Riyadhah Park is a shady area right in the center of Lhokseumawe City. The existence of Riyadah Park, which is very strategic and located in the center of Lhokseumawe City, is flanked by several offices such as banking, government centers, and the Islamic Center Mosque.

This place is perfect for those of us who want to relax for a moment while sitting on a park bench, reading a book, looking for tranquility, taking a leisurely walk while enjoying the shady trees.
