The diary game season 3[] #How I spent my day in the ancient city of Kalabari Kingdom 07/07/2021

It was 6:15am I woke up today being 7th of July, 2021 and the weather was calm. Although there was a slight rain fall later in the morning in Kalabari Kingdom I visited yesterday.

I went there to sort out for clients because my bank is giving out loan facilities to public/Federal Civil Servants.
I slept in one of my Aunty’s place at Abonnema Community.
Now let me tell you a little about this ancient Kingdom in south south part of Nigeria.

Abonnema city/ Town was founded in the year 1882 and discovered by an expedition of 11 chieftaincy houses from the Kalabari city.

The name ABONNEMA was originally known as NYEMONI which means “COVET YOUR OWN” in the Kalabari dialect of the ijaw language.

It’s a large town Surrounded by water. In order words, its an island and its river linked to the Atlantic Ocean.

The island is also known as YORK CITY!

As I was about going out this morning to the stations, I took some photographs and also had one with my aunt Titi and snapped her too.

On my way to the station, I met my long time childhood friend Atiemie Cottrell whom I’ve not seen for the past 6 years.

At about past 3:pm I got to portHarcourt, got home and had my dinner by 5pm.
