Hi warm greetings, i am good with the grace of Allah almighty, hope all gorgeous girls are healthy and happy. Today i am sharing the recipes of dumplings, my husband like it very much, i tried it for the first time but really its tasty and offcourse healthy to eat.
Firstly i would like to share brief history of dumplings origin. It famous in chinese cuisines, many people wrote that dumplings were originated by Zhang Zhongjing he was doctor by profession. As experts shared that people were suffering from cold in winter, Zhongjing taken dough and stuffed with meat, herbs, chillies and after made a wrapping steamed it in order to kept warm. These wrapping sheet that were stuffed and steamed found very effective in lowering the adversity of cold in winter, additionally the herb mixture was found effective in regulation of blood circulation also stopped frostbite.
Chinese food are really delicious and one important thing i would share they always cook healthy, in future i will different recipe that are healthy to eat in my air fryer.
Lets start making dumplings
Step 1
Mince preparation
Mutton mince 500 gram you can use chicken if do not like mutton
Ingredient | quantity |
---|---|
Mutton | 500grams |
Onion | 2 |
Black pepper | 1 tsp |
Salt | as per taste |
Butter | 1 tsp (optional you can skip) |
Tikka masala | 1/2 tsp |
Green chillies | 2 to 3 |
Mint | few leaves |
Take pressure cooker added mince with salt boiled it for 5 minutes after whistle start.
Now, added added chopped onion, butter and black pepper, green chillies and few leaves of mint. Cooked for 5 minutes. Its done.
Soya sauce and chilli sauce preparation
I made soy sauce at home its very easy. Take a dry pan, added 1 tsp sugar, kept the flame medium, mixed it continous donot let it burn, it melted and changed its color from white to light brown. Cooked till color changed dark brown. Now, added one cup water, pinch salt.
Allowed to cook it, added 2 tsp vinegar and thicken it one to 2 minutes.its ready.
Chilli sauce
Ingredient | quantity |
---|---|
Garlic cloves | 5 to 6 |
Vinegar | 1 tsp |
Chilli flakes | 1tsp |
Tomato paste | 2 tsp |
How to cook
Take garlic cloves chopped it, added 1/2 tsp oil and fry the garlic, added chilli flakes in it, then added 2 tsp tomato paste, mixed well. Added one cup water. Then added 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp sugar. Cooked well until thick well.
Dough making
Take two cup all purpose flour, added pinch salt make it smooth by adding water, knead it till soften. Kept it for 15 minutes.
Now, take small portion of dough spread it very thin, make any shape i made it round, made as much can be prepared from one dough. Keep it aside.
Stuff filling
Take wrapping sheet and placed mince on it, now closed the edges as i shown in picture. Sealed it tight.
Take steamer added water and allowed it to boil. Now, placed all the dumpling without overlapping, apply little oil on surfe before putting dumpling. Flame should be low to medium. Covered it for 15 minutes. When checked it should be tranparent. Its ready.
Sesame seed for sauce
Take sesame seed and roasted it till brown, added it in sauce.
Take one tsp soy sauce, one tsp water and one tsp vinegar mixed well, added few drop of sesame oil if u have. Sprinkle sesame seeds on sauce, its done.
Served dumpling with chilli garlic and dumpling sauce.

Thank u, actually the main thing is thinning of wrapping sheet, try to make it thin as much you can, and steamer time should be 15 minutes when it looked transparent its done, if dough is hard the result would be u are eating flour, make it smooth. Then its awesome
