El Día de las Madres es una fecha marcada en el calendario de celebraciones de todos los países, con el objetivo de rendir homenaje a las madres y agradecerles todo el esfuerzo que han hecho y siguen haciendo por nosotros a lo largo de nuestra vida.

Mother's Day is a date marked in the calendar of celebrations of all countries, with the aim of paying tribute to mothers and thanking them for all the effort they have made and continue to do for us throughout our lives.

Hay muchas cosas que puedes hacer para celebrar el Día de las Madres, pero si tienes la suerte de tener cerca a tu mamá, lo mejor que puedes hacer es pasar el día entero con ella, charlando, recordando buenos momentos, viendo fotos de antaño, o haciendo cosas que os gusten.

There are many things you can do to celebrate Mother's Day, but if you are lucky enough to have your mother close, the best thing you can do is spend the whole day with her, chatting, remembering good times, looking at photos of yesteryear, or doing things that you like.

¿Y por qué no, tener un detalle con ella, haciéndole algún regalo que le demuestre cuánto la quieres?

And why not have a detail with her, giving her a gift that shows her how much you love her?

Pues decidí regalarle un día de relajación y belleza a mi hermosa madre, quizás no fue el día exacto como lo marca el calendario, pero para mí, el día de las madres es todos los días, así que igualmente quise que pasara un día diferente.

Well, I decided to give my beautiful mother a day of relaxation and beauty, perhaps it was not the exact day as the calendar indicates, but for me, Mother's Day is every day, so I also wanted a different day to pass.

Les contaré cómo fue nuestro día...

I'll tell you how our day was...

En la mañana al despertar le dije que éste día sería completamente distinto, porque se lo merecía y mucho, que me siguiera la corriente y aceptó.

In the morning when I woke up I told him that this day would be completely different, because he deserved it and very much, that he go along with me and he accepted.

Empezamos con una mascarilla exfoliante en base a limón y azúcar para eliminar todas las impurezas del rostro. Luego nos aplicamos una crema hidratante.

We start with an exfoliating mask based on lemon and sugar to remove all impurities from the face. Then we apply a moisturizer.

Después procedimos a hacerle una depilación y pigmentación de cejas.

Then we proceeded to do an eyebrow waxing and pigmentation.

Le quedaron muy bonitas.

They were very beautiful.

A la hora del almuerzo decidí cocinar yo, así que le dije que se distraera viendo pelis mientras yo cocinaba. Preparé una deliciosa sopa de pescado.

At lunchtime I decided to cook myself, so I told him to get distracted by watching movies while I cooked. I made a delicious fish soup.

Le planché el cabello y le quedó muy hermoso, también nos pintamos las uñas, y luego nos quedamos viendo pelis por un buen rato.

I ironed her hair and it was very beautiful, we also painted our nails, and then we stayed watching movies for a long time.

Después le dije que era hora de que se sintiera más hermosa, porque la iba a maquillar.

Then I told her that it was time for her to feel more beautiful, because I was going to do her makeup.

Y éste fue el resultado, ¿Apoco no quedo bien hermosa?

And this was the result. Aren't she too beautiful?

Nos sacamos varias fotos juntas y pasamos el resto del día contándonos anécdotas divertidas y recordando viejos tiempos, de cuando ella tenía mi edad...

We took several photos together and spent the rest of the day telling each other funny anecdotes and reminiscing about old times, when she was my age...

Realmente me sentí muy feliz de haber hecho éste día especial y diferente para mi mamá, porque se que se sintió bien, estaba muy contenta, y pues ella se merece eso y mucho más.

I really felt very happy to have made this special and different day for my mother, because I know she felt good, she was very happy, and well, she deserves that and much more.
