STORY TIME
A VISIT TO ILLOGBO CENTRAL HOSPITAL
The National Youth service Corps Scheme is one that teaches people alot, from how to live as a youth, to becoming a kind person, to making reasonable decisions, etc.
As a Charity corp member, we had discussed that will visit either the motherless baby's home or the hospital, so after all out deliberations, we decided to visit the hospital. We made some donations and bought some gifts for the patients. It was on the 25th of August, we visited Illogbo central Hospital in Lagos State.

That fateful morning I had woken up very early because the distance to Illogbo has been said to be very far, I woke up very early, said my prayers, took my bath and dashed out of the house at exactly 7:30 a.m. When I got out to the road, I called my leader to know the direction to the hospital and he told me that I wouldn't be able to locate the venue, therefore, I should come to the local government.
I found my way to the local government and met other corpers, then my leader went to look for a bus that will take us all to the hospital. He made sure that everybody was comfortable while we proceeded to the hospital. We got there and had to wait for other persons because we couldn't take just one vehicle, we waited until all the Corps members joined us at the hospital.
Some persons who knew the place came from their houses to the hospital.
We divided outselves into ten, a team of 10, and made sure that everybody visited a ward. We also gave them the gifts we had bought. I was opportunity to visit the pregnant women ward where I got to see newborn babies, I was so excited. We were not allowed to take a close picture of the baby so we took pictures from a distance. when we finished in the ward, we took some group pictures with the staff of the hospital, it was a very fun day for me, seeing the babies and carrying them, I refused going to the sick patient ward. Afterwards, my leader made some announcements and I made headway to collect my ID card from the NYSC secretariat in Surulere, Lagos State.
Since my relocation, I haven't gotten my ID card. Each time I go there for it, they will always tell me to come back later. I had prepare for this day because I needed the ID card. On this day, I got my ID card without stress.
A MAKEUP JOB AT SURULERE
When I got home at night, a friend of mine called me to book for a makeup session. She will be attending a wedding on Saturday which was on the 27th of August. On the day of the wedding, I woke up very early took my bath and left the house at around 6:30 a.m because I wanted to beat traffic and get to her house very early and before the wedding starts.
My client's sister
My client
It had rained all through the night and waking up became very difficult but I tried my best. I still couldn't beat traffic, I spent 3 hours on the way to her place. The wedding was going to start by 11 a.m and she wasn't in a hurry to go to church service, so I took my time and wore her makeup beautifully, her sister saw my work and booked immediately for her self so she paid more for express work, because i hadn't plan for her makeup before then😋.
I finished with their makeup, got them dressed and left for another Job that has been booked prior before theirs, it was a stressful day for me. The other client was gonna use it for a birthday shoot, so I met up in time, wore her makeup and snapped the pictures before it began to rain.
The second client
It was already night by the time the rain paused, I found my way home and got prepare for service the next day.
