Introduction

In life we have people around us it might be our husband our wife our brother or anyone else, in all there must be a particular person that is most important to us than the other people.

In the beginning when God created humans He saw the importance of companionship and He made more than one person and that is how family began.

I have so many important people in my life I have my husband my mother my father and my siblings, but I have one person that is most important to me and that happens to be my younger brother Ikechi Ome .

Let's see some reason why Ikechi Ome is the most important person to me even more than my husband.

What makes my brother the most important person in my life

There are people in your life that will make an indelible mark in your life wether you like it or not and when those marks are positive you become important to them while they will be so important to you.

This is exactly the case with my younger brother he made an indelible mark in my life and it was a positive one.

After graduation from Nursing school in the year 2010 my parents never wanted me to leave home and I needed to work to start making earnings since we where not even rich in our family.

I left home to look for job when I got the job and a house I didn't have money to pay for the house rent, I came back home to meet my parents asking for support but because they didn't want me to leave home in the first place so they were not in support of me owning an apartment.

I cried and cried and cried but they refused to support me I was left so sad but my brother tho he was still young then came to my rescue you might wonder how.

My brother was a young famer and he had only one goat that he cared for and he kept that goat for a purpose. Out of love my brother took this single goat to the market and insisted on selling it for 9000 Naira which is equivalent to 54steems because I told him that my house rent was 750 Naira per month making 9000 Naira per annum.

Finally my brother sold this goat for 7,500 naira equivalent to 43steem and he gave all to me for my house rent, honestly this one act of kindness made an indelible mark in my life.

My brother stopped at nothing to make sure that I paid for the house rent and start my life in the city, he kept on supporting me till I got my balance in the city.

On another occasion I was very sick and I was admitted in a hospital and there was no one available to take care of me, this my brother left his work, then he was driving a tricycle car known as Keke napep on higher purchase then but he didn't mind that taking care of me will affect him he came and cared for me for two good weeks.

During my traditional marriage period, this my brother was beside me he assisted me to the extent he can I can overemphasize the goodness of this my brother tho unfortunately he has been down since two years now.

Memories with my beloved brother

I had so many good memories with my brother I remember those years in the village when life was very difficult for my family this my brother always walk with me in people's farm while they pay us and we use it to help our family.

We always go together to the bush in search of firewoods and palm fruits and all this bounded us more.

This picture is a memory that can't be easily erased this was on 22nd of February 2020 it was not upto 24hrs before I was called that he has been a victim of car accident and this accident changed my brothers life till date.

Despite he's present condition I still cherish him and have been doing my best to make him stand again and I believe that Jehovah will hear my cries and rise him once more.

Conclusion

Like I earlier mentioned there are some people that leave a mark that will always be in your heart it might be with something that is not really important but the impact of that goodness at that time will make that one act be remembered at all time
