STEEM WOMEN CLUB|| "Chain of Goodness" Giving Groceries to My Needy Neighbor

Every woman has their own successes and failures as we face the waves of life. What truly matters is, on how...we withstand these adversities.

Most of the time in our neighborhood, I use to see this scenario of a woman every week. She is waiting for the delivery man so she could buy liquefied petroleum gas. As I got the chance to talk to her, I discovered that she buys Php18 equivalent to .36$ per aluminum canister and resells it for Php23 equivalent to .46$, so she could earn more or less Php2400 per month equivalent to 48$, depending on the sales. That is her only source of income for she has no permanent job because she was not able to finish her high school education.

She is Jenet Berdin, 45 years old. A widowed mother. She also got help from our neighbors when she applied business permit in our place.

Her only son serves as her inspiration to survive in life despite her throat syndrome.

The way she works hard for her son and handles difficulties in life, motivated me to do and share goodness from what I have earned in steemit.

The Preparation:
I bought some groceries to help her lessen her day to day expenses.

The Handing Out:
As a woman and a mother, I could greatly understand the feeling of providing what is best for our children even though sometimes we are under in difficult circumstances. Giving to those in need from what I have earned at steemit is my second #chainofgoodness. From my own little way of sharing, I believe, I uplift a mother's heart in her dreary days.

I am also grateful to my family's support; my husband, brother and father who also donated enough money for their water connectivity so she won't need to fetch water which is far from their house cause that would trigger her throat syndrome.

I saw the sweet smile of a mother when she received what I had given... and that is already a true fulfillment on my part. In this difficult time, we could do our little way of doing kindness to the needy because me might not know that would cost a lot to them.
