TELEPORTATION BY @zhacchaeus
QUESTION
Describe a digital invention you wish could make your life easier or better? What would it do for you? Come up with ideas on how that device may be constructed.
A DIGITAL DEVICE THAT COULD MAKE LIFE EASIER OR BETTER.
First and foremost, the digital device that I would have invented would be a teleportation device.
In simply put, a teleportation device will be a device that will transfer humans and all forms of matter from one point to another without traversing the physical space between them.
Using a teleportation device, one can travel from Ghana to UK in less than five seconds. Teleportation is often paired with time travel, being that the traveling between two points takes an unknown period of time and sometimes its being immediate.
With teleportation, one could travel from Kumasi to Accra within a twinkle of an eye. Wont this invention make our life easier and faster? Thus saving the stress to sit in a bus for hours just to reach your destination.
Anyways the main reason teleportation is impossible at the moment is that it requires large amounts of energy.
According to University of Leicester, a study into computing power required to teleport one human being, thus your cells broken down into data equivalent to around 2.6 x 1042 bits which is 2.6 followed by forty-two zeroes. It will require a band width and roughly 10 tons gigawatt hours of power.
Thus teleporting one human being would therefore require hogging the entire UK power supply for more than a million years.
Teleportation involves two distant, entangled particles in which the state of a third particle instantly "teleports" its state to the two entangled particles.
In the near future teleportation world help the world as things would be done more easier and faster.

You could have written it like this:
2.6 x 1042
And, it would be really hard to teleport everything in one piece, as current situation allows us to transfer data in bits and packets, only when a packet has reached its destination, the acknowledgement is sent back and then the new packet is sent. So, it would be really hard for human being to teleport if we could only send humans in packets (pieces).
Ok
