Afienya Police Station

All criminal offense within the town are handled here. The towns main police is what we have here in the picture above. They have been very helpful in fighting crimes around the area. Afienya District Dovvsu Office

DOVVSU which stands for Domestic Violence And Victim Support Unit is a unit in the Ghana which falls under the Ghana Police Department. They are responsible for fighting domestic abuse of which children and women are the most victims off. Any violence abuse against any individuals can be reported here and through the right channel, the culprits will be dealt with. Come to this office to report any abuse cases.

DOVVSU compound

Here is how the compound looks like, as you can see from the image are individuals who have come here to settle their cases. Dialogue is going on and I’m sure they have settled the issues.

Firewood by road side

These are firewood’s just infront of a shop. This is a koko selling joint. The woods are used for setting firs for the koko.

Metal Gates On Sale

These are very strong gates o display for sale. They have both sliding and rolling ones. They are of very high quality.

Aboboya Station

These are some of the Aboboya within the town parked at their main station. They assist the natives with transportation.

Cement Depo.

Here is a cement dealer with lots of cement packed by here side. It’s on sale for anyone who wants to buy for their construction works. Hence, people buy their cement from this point.

Afienya Youth Senior High School

Afienya Youth as we call it for short is a senior high schools within the town. It’s a private one for that matter. It’s also located by the road side heading towards Shai Hills.
