Do you know that a bee dies shortly after stinging it’s victim???

Bees, just like any other living organisms will fight and defend its colony and race if they feel the urgency to do so. Yes, this insects trying to play a key role in defending it’s kind will attack anyone who seems to be a threat to them.

Bees are normally attacked by living organisms like mammals, others insects and even some birds. This is probably how the ecosystem was designed. Other living organisms feed on others. That’s, one organism is a prey of the other.

Bees are attacked countless times by some living creatures like bears which feeds on the fresh honey of bees. Even some feeds on the little kinds of bees. That’s newly laid babes of bees.

Humans trying to harvest fresh honey from the hive of bees in one way or the other cause harms to these living creatures. Some animals like the raccoon are also be eaters.
Bees have the ability to sting anyone who is unprotected as far as they see you as a threat.

They can sting you with their stinger which is hook like in nature. Since it’s in a form of a hook, it get stacked in the flesh of its victim. Using a fishing hook as an example, we all know how the fish get stacked onto a hook. There is no way it will be able to escape with losing its mouth. Meaning the hook can only come out when the fisherman gets it off from its mouth.

This same way, when a bee sting it’s victim and manages to flee off, because of the hook liked nature of the stinger, it can not escape without leaving it. In the process, part of its abdomen is been uprooted or torn away. This causes severe damage to the bee which will make it die in some few minutes time after it’s escape.

Interesting how this creature can sacrifice it’s life for the rest of its species. Just to protect and defend it’s kind.

Whenever you get a bee sting, don’t just feel sad for yourself, also think about the life of the bee which has been laid down just to defend itself and that of the colony. Try as much as possible to avoid bee hives and possible bee locations. Bee sting is very unpleasant and cause severe damages on both parties; bee and the victim. Protect yourself from a bee sting.
