The Diary Game: 13-14/08/2022 : My Weekend Activities
Hello Everyone..!!
It’s yet another weekend and our daily schedules are occupied by European football. From morning to evening always sitting with television watching European football.
On Saturday morning, I woke up very early to visit the gym, I haven’t been there for three days and I wasn’t feeling myself. After I was done with my workout, I passed by porridge seller to get some for myself and the boys.
When I came back to the hostel, I freshen up and took the porridge for breakfast. The first EPL game was 11:30 am between Aston Villa and Everton which wasn’t that important. We went to vote on TEIN elections on campus, one of our guys was aspiring for the position of organizer and we had to help with the campaign.
We got back some hours later to go for the second EPL match between Arsenal and Leicester City. It was an interesting match and Arsenal won with four goals to two. The next game was United and Brentford, which was the interesting match of the day. United lost the game with four goals to nil. The Chelsea fans made fun of them and we all laughed and argued.
We came back to the hostel and prepared some for lunch. We also prayed and went to play football, it wasn’t quite long when it got dark so we went back to the hostel. We prayed and took supper. The next game was Barca which took off at 7:00 pm and ended at a goalless draw. A lot were angry since Barca signed new players and couldn’t win against a smaller club.
When we were done watching the game, another election that was postponed later commenced at the night time. It was GMSA elections and one of our guys were contesting for secretary position. We went to the mosque side, the place where the election process was done.
On the following day which was today, it was a heavy rain in the morning and so I couldn’t go to the gym and didn’t also get porridge for breakfast. I came out in search for bread, I went the available stores but there was bread. A friend was going to town and I asked him to get me one.
I needed to work on my project since the due date is near. I switched on my laptop and called the guy who assisted me in the designed of the system. We discussed and I edited some features.
It took awhile and I was very hungry and so I had to prepare something to eat. I came out to buy tomatoes and pepper and prepared rice with pepper sauce. I added eggs and sardines.
It was time for Chelsea game with Spurs and so we had to hurry up before its start. Chelsea open the scoring with an early goal from their new signing Kalidou Koulibaly. The game ended draw and we were saved from the noise pollution.
After the game, I went to the gym since I couldn’t go in the morning. It was a chest day and so I went several reps with bench press. I trained arms afterwards and went back to the hostel.
At night we went to watched Real Madrid game. We wanted them to play draw but they were rescued by Alaba with the freekick he scored. The opponent scored first and Madrid equalized and add. We came back to the hostel.
It is good to know how you are doing and how your day went. it was a great game but most people were aware that game will end in a draw and that Chelsea were not capable of beating spurs at the moment.
