A CALL TO ACTION! A CALL TO DUTY! @Steem-Ghana is Shrinking with № Of Size~~ From 150 to 100. Let's Wake Up!!!
Good morning Steem Family and friends and to our believed Steem-Ghana family. I am @oppongk, A Country Representative for Ghana. As Representative, I must always monitor the weakness and strength of the Community and always look forward for the growth of the Community.
For the few days, I see the community to be shrinking in terms of our Active posters daily. previously it has stood around 150 to 200. As we entered in December, our number of Active posters have drastically cut down to 100. And it keeps declining. This raises concern to all of us, especially to we the Leaders of the Community.
Our concern is what is going on in the Community causing most of our regular posters to stop posting?
Can we attribute this challenge to celebration of Christmas? I can't tell that is actually the main cause. Since Steemians would be eager to share with us their happiness in this Christmas festivity.
We do not shift the blame to anyone or a particular occasion. We are reminded of having a duty, some action we all have to take. Our duty as Steemians. To be consistent in writing post. We should remember to keep our activeness, engage the Community for the Community to become very active.
Reviving the community need our Maximum cooperation. Building Community need the consensus of the group. Contributing our best would help the community to move forward.
Steem-Ghana Community has strived very hard and now having Steem power in total of 20,000 + we hope to reach 30,000 SP soon. All these successe have been achieved through your effort and contribution of Delegation of Steem power. The Community becomes a vessel unless you fill it with your regular creative posts.
Though we are hard times when most members do not get Upvote as expected. But, building a to reach Orcar or Whale 🐋 is a long term investment. We need patience and time to build. We need to determine and focus. We need to be consistent and be active. We need to plan programs and Initiatives that would be attractive to invite many people in the Community.
We got to celebrate with @Steem-Ghana, so let's wait for the good time to come.
I think the inactiveness can be associated with the Christmas as many steemians were caught up in the celebration and had no time to be very active on steemit.
I believe the numbers will go back up after December.
That could be one factor. But, I don't think it could be a major factor since other countries are also celebrating Christmas, yet they honor their duties as steemians to their respective Communities.

Laudable ideas raised here Buddy! Actually, it's something we are all looking forward to be backed up by Curators, since our personal account is sometimes meagre to help the great number of individuals. At first we thought that the club5050 participation is going to boost curation for the individuals who support. But this is other way round. Many of our members don't get support as we expect.
Notwithstanding, we are all encouraged to do our best for the little ones like booming, Steemcurator04 and individual upvotes. We know there are better days ahead if we don't relent on our effort but keep rocking hard.

It is definitely a concern since the scheduled meetup was not honored. I will suggest that one of those telegram meetings be held to check up on members.
Yes! It's also one of challenges we leaders accept the blame. Things were going smoothly at the later, middle and somewhere getting to the end. But we quit calling for meeting due to may schooling and pressure of work. We hope to strategize our time and hold our weekly meeting to correct the issue.

Yes, we need to do something to get their attention in the community.
This is a major concern that needs to be addressed but before that can be done we need no know the reasons why some of our colleagues are not active. As said by @collinz and @rubilu123 those are some of the reasons.
To add to that i think commenting on post and upvoting with our own account is also very less and could account to that. Because spending 2 -4 hours to write a post and realizing you have Zero comments and a single or no upvotes is not encouraging.
