THE DIARY GAME : 20TH JANUARY, 2022 : CHECKING UP ON A FRIEND & VISITING THE NAVRONGO MARKET.
Greetings everyone,
We have been experiencing quite some harsh weather conditions over here at Navrongo as we are entering into the harmattan season. This means that we have to be cautious of the clothes we wear as well as the things we put in our bodies.
We must also remember to drink lots of water in order to stay hydrated at all times. This is how we must do things in order to stay fit and healthy this time of year.
Today, I wanted to visit the market and get some groceries once again since I was running out at my place. But before, I went to shop, I first made it a point to pass through a friend's place and check up on him.
Whiles there, I noticed that they were watching a football match at his hostel together so I stood there for some time in order to see how things were going.
For a match of this caliber, you would expect Chelsea to absolutely dominate the game since they are also sitting among the top 4 in the league. However, this was not the case. Brighton never backed down and gave them a run for their money allowing only a handful of chances.
I hoped Lukaku could have scored to improve his chances of succeeding in the premier league. But his performance was quite average showing only strength in the air.
After the match, my friend, saw me off and I went to buy the items I was looking for.
I went to the market with a tricycle which is the popular means of transport over here. We take them often to places in the main town, to the hostel or even sometimes to the outskirts of Navrongo.
I arrived within a short time and went to one of the shops that happened to be around the area. This shop had lots of quality items at cheaper prices than we are used to.
As such, I made it a point to buy some utensils and other items from the place.
Once I was done, I left the place and then came back home to deal with other stuff including washing my dirty shoes would later be working on setting up a dry line soon.

I have heard about the weather conditions at the North. I've not been there before but I have to one day visit the place. Thanks for letting us know the need to take water frequently and check what we wear. Thanks for sharing your day activities friend. Keep sharing
