THE DIARY GAME : 13TH JANUARY, 2022 : ARRIVED SAFELY ON CAMPUS AFTER A FEW SETBACKS, CLEANED UP MY PLACE & GETTING READY FOR A FRUITFUL SEMESTER

Greetings everyone,

We have now reopened reopened school and for that reason, I had to make it a point to leave for campus. And although lecturers are currently on a strike seeking for an jncreament in their salaries, I don't want a situation whereby I have to rush to campus and be under pressure once the strike is finally called off.

I had already purchased my bus tickets to Navrongo so it was just left for me to pack and head over to the station. The bus was going to leave around 8 pm but there is usually an immense traffic on the Kronum road so I got there ahead of time.

The tine was finally here and the bus departed at the scheduled time.

What they do down here at the OA station us that the buses tend to follow each other. This means that if there are 4 buses heading towards the same destination, they will depart at the same time in order to be able to follow each other.

I usually can't stand the duration of the journey so I fell fast asleep. But somethi g woke me up when we were akmost at oir destination. We had encountered a flat tyre.

I got down behind the bus in order to stretch my legs while the tyre got replaced.

At this point, it was already daybreak around 7 am so we could see quite clearly.

The driver did well to find the right tools, the spare tyre and a jack in order to replace the tyre.

Once the tyre was replaced, he said he needed to check on the fuel pump at the back too. This was because, it seemed to have been giving him a difficult time.

I was part of the people who got down tp see if we could help but he had it all figured out.

Due to the changing of the tyre and some other incidents we had enciuntered, I arrived in Navrongo later than I expected.

I therefore took a caravan ride straight to my hostel.

I have moved from my old place to a new location so it was going to take some time to clean the place up.

Once I was done with the cleaning, I had to focus and washing my things that were dusty due to the severe conditions up here.

I also had to clean my wash room afterwards.

Once I was finished, I had to rest a bit since I was tired in order to continue the following day.
