THE DIARY GAME : 13/07/2021 : PLANINING OUR GEOLOGICAL FIELD TRIP TO BONGO GRANITOIDS & CARDINAL RESOURCES
Greetings everyone,
Today we had a meeting with the faculty members pertaining our field trip we intend to embark on during the weekends. This is because we are now offering courses that are related to the practicality of the field. I am particularly interested in the exploration session of the trip.
Our previous field trip to the Bongo Granitoids
When we visit these sites we are able to assess the regolith profiles of the places and deduce the various conditions under which these were formed. We always go along with an expect so any ambiguity can be addressed on site.
This time, we will also be visiting the Cardinal resources at the Congo area where they have now set up exploration structures and have began serious work. This creates room for us students to go and witness the processes involved in the mine setup, core drillings and so on.
I want to also understand the anomalies in the lawra belts and see if I could ascertain certain key exploration details such as the background values as well as the treshold. This will make me feel a lot better about the stuff I have learnt so far.
Thank you for your attention.
It’s really nice seeing how you are poised for your career.
Great dairy and thanks for sharing
