BETTER LIFE - 19/05/2021 - STEEM PROMO | OUR MEETUP AT KNUST & T-SHIRT DISTRIBUTION

Greetings everyone,

Today, I met up with @nattybongo and some other newbies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and technology campus where we discussed some relevant issues concerning Steem Ghana as a whole.

I left home around noon today since I live about an hour and half from the university. There was lots of traffic on the way causing us to delay a bit on the road. Also, our car tyre got busted and we had to wait for a while. Although it took me longer than expected, I finally arrived at the campus and went to visit some newbies.

Upon arrival, I asked for the location of the hostels of the newbies and it seems some of them were having lectures at the time. The few who were available were lucky to receive their new copies of the steem ghana t-shirts.

I and @nattybongo then got in touch and we decided and converged at the parade grounds where we planned to have the meeting. He was coming from a different part of the campus so we so we just made sure to make sure we met at a popular venue which was the parade grounds.

This is where we met with our new CR where we exchanged pleasantries and got to know each other better. We had a lot to discuss so we got some soft drinks and sat down to have some discussions. This is where @avagah wanted to know about smart contract execution and how to purchase some cryptocurrencies through your trust wallet. This was needed for him to complete an assignment in the steemit crypto academy community so I was happy to assist.

I and @nattybongo then held a discussion concerning steem greeting and how the entire process works. I was happy to see that he has already assessed the platform and has some experience concerning the entire process. We then moved ahead to talk about some of the various activities we can organize as a community to help improve our output.

After this successful mini meetup, we then decided to part ways. @nattybongo had to leave to his place to get some work done.

I was feeling hungry at this point so I, together with @avagah and @captain36 went to sit down at a nearby restaurant and get some jollof rice to eat. The food here was quite good no wonder they had several customers. I then parted ways with them and came back home.
