The Diary Game: 14/04/2022 - Clinic Day
Hello guys,
How are you all doing? It's been a while, the week has been quite stressful and full of activities owing to the fact that the students on campus are writing exams and i had the responsibility as a teaching and research assistant to do supervisory work as well as help with other administrative stuff where necessary.
However, i am glad that the week has come to an end and that the weekend has already started with the Easter holiday, i am looking forward to loads of fun and excitement this weekend and especially the Monday to come. I do hope you are having a good time as well though, do enjoy yourself and release stress because it is crucial to life.
And so on this day which was basically the last day for the midsemester exams that the students were undertaking i was to be at the hospital to take care of patients whiles my other colleagues did the rest of the work at the department, because everything was been wrapped up the workload was less and needed fewer people and so i left for the Hospital in the morning and came back later in the evening.
The hospital wasn't as busy as the other days used to be but there were still some interesting cases that i had to see and take care of though, a child with viral conjunctivitis, a few refractive error cases, suspected glaucoma cases and a lot of dry eye syndrome cases. Later in the afternoon there weren't any patients so i watched Moon Knight on my tablet.
I closed around 3pm came back to the department to see what was going on and if i was need to perform any activities for which i had to perform some rounds. I got home later around 6pm, i enjoyed some rice for supper after which i ironed my cloths for service and slept. I am definitely optimistic about the holidays and i do hope i get to enjoy as such. Thanks for reading and have nice time.
The patient who was diagnosed with Lid Laceration, what happens to the eye if he or she couldn't do the surgery due financial constraints?
We would have to keep managing to avoid keratitis due to cornea exposure from the lacerated area. The wound is not one that can heal and close up on its own.
I see about how bettervision can help them with financial support though
That will be massive. I hope bettervission comes to his or her aid.

Kind regards, nattybongo, it's good that you were able to rest a bit since under the workload and to be able to return to your work with renewed batteries. I liked reading your publication despite having to translate, best regards from Venezuela.
