I wish I wasn't the one in that situation but on a second thought, I took that in a good faith convincing myself that it happened to teach me a valuable lesson.

Imagine yourself in a room with a lot of people in a queue going for the same thing and there's this guy who seems to be in hurry to go ahead of everyone. I know the kind of resentment I usually have within for those people whenever I come across one.

However, today, it was me in those shoes and I could only imagine the resentment in the hearts of those who sat quietly looking at me.

1ST EMBARRASSMENT

Upon my visit to Sunyani for my NSS Validation, we got to the venue and we had to join a queue. While it was almost my turn I realized I had a problem with my letter so I decided to speak with one of the I.T guys and he refered me to the Complaints Officer who was then attending to someone at the moment. This is where the problem was, I actually thought my problem was a quick one to deal with so without hesitation, I approached him and he was so impolite. He asked that I go take a sit and join a new queue before I could see him.

I did and finally got to speak with him. i left the venue to print my letter to correct the problem and by the time I returned the people on the queue I joined earlier had finished with their validation.

2ND EMBARRASSMENT

So I thought I was left behind and then decided to approach one of the I.T guys working with Personnel from my region. I got to his desk and this guy actually embarrassed me. These were his words, " what is it? have I called you?" I was like, seriously, I wanted to know how to about the processes and he said, he didn't call me so I should go back and sit.

With this kind of embarrassment, I decided to go and sit quietly. All those who came after me had done their validation but o wasn't bothered. I waited till I was called and then I finished up with it and left.

LESSON

It is better not to always assume what some is thinking or will do when you approach him/her. Be patient and study the routine or ask other people before you make a step.
