COVID-19 STILL LINGERS BUT NO ONE CARES ANYMORE |The Situation in Ghana|

Have we suddenly thrown caution to the dogs?

it wasn't long when all humans on Earth feared for their lives due to the presence of the deadly pandemic (COVID-19).

We saw in the news at some point that there was a surge in the number of infected people and a corresponding increase in the number of deaths both in Ghana and the diaspora.

However, it seems people have now thrown away the very protocols that guided us out of that thick forest of danger.

I was in transit today in a mini Bus to Sunyani this Morning and it is unfortunate to learn that, out of the total 15 people in the car, I'm the only person wearing a nose mask and no one seems to care or worry about it.

Fortunately for me, I have had the two shots of the COVID-19 vaccine but ironically, I'm the only one wearing a mask though I don't their vaccination status but we all know the reaction people pulled towards this vaccine.

A little research I did showed that as at 2nd November, 2021, there have been 210 new cases and 7 new deaths owing to COVID-19.

Most unfortunate part of this is that, the police stop is at the various barriers and never ask about nose masks. All they're interested in is their money.

Let's keep obeying these protocols until we completely get rid of the Coronavirus Disease.
