THE DIARY GAME : 23/04/2022 : A VISIT TO THE MTN OFFICE
Fellow steemians,
For some time now I have been using my mom's details for my sim card for mtn mobile money transactions. The reason is because, I had not yet reached the least age for registration which was 18 years. I started using mobile money when I got admission to Femena High which is a bit far from home.
So the best thing to do was to send me money through this system. It is quite good because it stops a lot of bad things from happening such as theft and other cases like loss of money.
We asked and they told us that the ownership can be changed if we come to the office. So I decided to come with her today so they can do that.
There was a line at the office when we arrived so we had to sit down and wait for our turn. I was happy to see that they are still practising social distancing unlike many others in the country who have decided to ignore it.
After about 30 minutes, it finally got to our turn which made me very happy. And after they looked at my mother's ID and confirmed it was her, they asked her to sign a document after which we left.
When we were done, I was very excited to have gotten complete control over my momo account so I tried withdrawing some cash at this vendor.
I was very excited to see it go through successfully. I really hope everything will be so easier in this country.
I then returned home from here.

I am sure that office is just one out of a very few that still practice the covid protocol. The reason is now a lot of us have thrown away the protocols given to us concerning covid.
Anyway, congrats on now managing your momo account. I didn't know you could transfer the ownership. Thanks for the info.

Mobile money transaction is safe and faster, and as you said, it prevent bad activities like theft and rubbing.
