Take Advantage of Opportunities
Opportunities come once and when they come you must be ready to grab them. When you are not and you miss them it is more painful than when they haven't come. And so we ought to be ready at all times for any opportunity that could come our way, this way we never miss out on anything.
This is taking advantage of opportunities. By calculating the possibilities, the good that could come up as a result of where we are headed and what we seek to achieve in life. For example, you are the student hoping to become a student leader one day, from the word go you make sure that you are securing your academics and establishing good relations with others.
This would ensure that when the opportunities present themselves for you to contest for the desired position you wouldn't now be trying to connect with people, it will be an easy fake that people will see through you that you want to use them to elevate yourself into position and most likely would forget about them once there because you didn't know them in the first place.
Another example would be you perhaps being a graduate and hoping to find a job someday, you should have all your necessary documents ready such that should you be lucky to come across a job opportunity you would be able to provide all your documents from the word go and most likely land the job.
But this comes with the mindset of being opportunistic, and so be opportunistic, work hard every day towards your goal, press on regardless and eventually, the future will be yours. Thank you for reading and for your time.
