Sieving Out Information
In our local dialect, there is an adage that says, "Opanin due, mannte mannte", which transliterate as the elderly says he didn't hear he didn't hear, or better still the elderly acts like he or she didn't hear.
This is a crucial aspect of life and growth that i believe it is paramount that each and every single one of us get to learn this trick or technique to help you sieve out information as you go through this journey called life.
You have to know that it is not everything that demands a response, it not everything that you must say, it is not everything that you must talk about and certainly not everything that you ought to hear.
And so when you hear what you shouldn't hear please pretend not to have heard and when you know what you shouldn't say keep your information or secret to yourself, for secrets shared is secret revealed. Yes you may think is your best pal but don't forget he also has a best pal.
And so just like fire set to a small bush in the harmattan, it catches on to others and takes over entire farmlands and even villages. Be particular with the information you share to or with the world and always do well to protect yourself. Be dignified for life.
Information is key in this our journey and we can not go through without sieving them and taking those that are good to us.
Nice write up. Greetings.
