The Diary Game - Wednesday: 17-11-21: Data Collection In Benzuure community.
Data Collection it was
On Wednesday which was on the 17th of November, 2021, I started the day with my daily activities. That's my usual early morning prayers at 4:40am, fetching of water, brushing my teeth, bathing and taking my breakfast. I dressed up and it was time for us to set off.
After this, the group went for data collection. We decided to go to 15 houses before going back home so We divided the houses among ourselves to make our work easier. Each group went to the houses they were allocated to for collection of their data.
We started the data collection around 7:30am. We went to the houses we were allocated to go. We met some of them. Only a few of them had gone to farms at that time so we decided go and find a day and meet them in their farms so that we can also learn something there. Some of us have not seen how they harvest rice, maize Millet, beans and many other crops they grow there.
It was at 1:20pm and we had finished taking data from the houses we were allocated to and met the other members but they were still to take data from their last house so we just joined them to do so.

We ended at 2:00pm and we all returned home. On our return, I had my rest and offered my prayers. After that I took my lunch before we had a group discussion on the data we collected for the day. We summarized everything before ending the discussion.

I played football with my community people as usual and after I return back home, I took my supper and then my bath before coming to pray. I later on went to my friend that's @chenty who happens to be one of my group member to educate me on some part of the steemit. He really devoted his time for me and take me through setting things I was finding it very difficult to understand.

This reminds me of the time we were doing our internship at one of the villages we had to adapt their lifestyle.
Staying in Benzuure all this while and having to adapt to community life has been quite challenging but interesting as well. We're learning a lot from the community and hopefully we'll continue to learn.
It always a challenging to stay at some place you are not familiar with.
Especially if they lack a lot things you like very much.
But I think with time we'll learn a lot from this community before leaving.
