Hello my fellow steemians, hope everyone is doing great, I’m very pleased to share with you 10 pictures describing the activities in my hometown Sofo Kyere in Berekum, Bono Region.

1. Provision Store

This is where most people in my hometown buy most of their basic needs like toothpick, toothpaste, can foods and drinks, soap , bottle water, bread, and sometimes vegetables etc. This help the people in my hometown to the all this basic items without struggle because is common in my hometown.

2. Pragya

This automobile machine is popularly known in my hometown as pragya(tricycle). Pragya plays a major role in the town transportation because Is most people in the town only means of transportation in the town. This mean of transportation is also very cheap compared to other means of transport and has also contribute a lot in developing my hometown.

3. Seventh Day Adventist Church

Religion is also very important to the people in my hometown. There are several religious people in my hometown and several religious centres also there. There is harmony and peace is my hometown upon all these many religion because there is religious tolerance in there. Some of the most popular churches there is the Seventh Day Adventist Church and Roman Catholic Church. But I attend pentecostal Church.

4. Senase Soap Making Factory

There are absence of Factory in many places in the country but in my hometown is different, thus we are bless with one soap making factory which was constructed with the help of German Aid and Ghana Government, this factory employs around 200 people directly and 50 indirect people. It manufacturing capacity of around 1 million tons of soap per year.

5. Market

This is a place in my hometown where buying and selling of goods takes place. Some of the goods being sold at the place include fresh vegetables , meat, fish, cassava, plantain, cocoyam, flour,, oil etc. This place is very crucial to the people in my hometown because it helps them to get access to their basic daily foodstuff needs in just few walk and serves as the means of employment for the people in my hometown.

6. All For Christ Complex

This is very crucial to the large number of parents in my hometown because they really believe in the idea that school is the key to success. We have a lot of number of school in my community some of them are Emmanuel Methodist Preparatory School, Akab Complex School, Blessed Child Prep. School etc., I attended Yiadom Boakye Demonstration for my basic education. We have On Senior High School in my hometown called Bess and One tertiary education that’s Berekum College Of Education. The children in my hometown really love going to school.

7. House

The house in my hometown are quit beautiful and huge. There are a lot of rich people in my hometown and this will definitely translate into beautiful houses, most of the houses in my hometown are made of blocks and are usually self contained, but we have a quite number of 2 or more storey buildings .

8. Community Park

We have a community park where a lot of the youth in my hometown gather usually on Sundays morning to play football, football is one of the games in my community the youth enjoys so much. It will be surprise to you that sometimes there are a lot of ladies on the park than boys, this is one of the things I love about my community.

9. Petrol filling Station

This is where cars, motors,bicycle etc., fill their machiens which patrol, diseal etc. There is also a mini shopping mall at the station where they sells groceries and other stuffs. There is machinic shop also there where some of the cars goes to for repairs etc.

10. Sofo Kyere Clinic

This place is where most of the people in my community come for health services, they treat different types of diseases and sickness, is a very essential part of the community.
