THE DIARY GAME; TUESDAY 18/05/21

Hello fellow steemians

Today being a Tuesday and a weekday, I woke up as early as 4:45 am to perform my Fajr prayers. I went back to bed with the intention of waking up around 7am to prepare and go for lectures. I was still lying on my bed when it started raining so I just made up my mind that the class will be cancelled since it was raining so I slept without even setting an alarm. I was still in bed when I suddenly heard my phone ringing, so I quickly picked the call and it was my friend and he asked me if I would not be going for the class since I mostly go to lectures with him and it is almost time and he has not seen me. I quickly checked the time and it was 30 minutes to the lectures, so I quickly jumped up from my bed and rushed to the bathroom to take my bath and brush my teeth. I did not bother to take my breakfast since I was already late, I quickly put on my clothes and rushed to the lecture hall.

When I got there, the lecturer was already inside so I quietly walked inside to take a seat a friend had reserved for me. I actually found it difficult understanding what he was teaching as his voice wasn't loud enough for we the back benchers to hear. Anytime we complained of not hearing, he will tell us to keep quiet and try to come early next time. I then decided to move to the front but there was no seat available so I had no option than to remain at the back. I was still struggling to hear what he was saying so I decided to on my data and reply some few messages on WhatsApp. The lecturer taught for 2 hours and left. When he left, we were supposed to meet another lecturer before we close for the day but when the course rep called him, he said he is a bit busy and we should meet after 2 hours.

Since I had not taken breakfast before going to the class, I went to a popular food joint on campus with my friends to buy beans and gari. When we got there, the queue was long so we had to wait till it was our turn for us to buy. We sat there and ate our food and we all walked back together to the hostel since our hostels are situated in the same area.

When I got home, I just undressed and then went out to perform ablution and observed my Zuhr prayers. After the prayers, I continued with a series I had started watching last week. I watched it for a while and I started feeling sleepy so I stopped and slept. When I woke up, it was almost time for the second lecture so I just dressed up and started moving to the the venue of the lecture. I got there before the lecturer so I quickly went through what he taught last week so I could answer some questions if he asks. When he came, he told us he is in a meeting so he will lecture for only an hour and give us the rest as a reading assignment. When he did his 1 hour, he left and the course rep gave some announcement before we all dismissed.

When I got home, it was time for Asr prayers so I went to performed ablution and went to the mosque to observe my prayers. After the prayers, I quickly rushed back to the hostel to go through the reading assignment the last lecturer gave us. I went through for a while and I became exhausted so I decided to go and play football to release some stress.

I then changed into my sports kits and went to the field to exercise. When I got there , they had already started so I waited for others to come and we formed the 3rd team. Since we were 3 teams now, we set a rule that anyone who is scored will come out. We played for 2 hours and it was getting dark so we closed.

I came home and bathed and went to the mosque to observe my prayers. I went to a friend's place to play FIFA for a while before I came back to my hostel.
