The Diary Game: something exciting, August 27th.
Hello guys, welcome to my diary game post. I've been well and I hope you're too.
It's been in mind since the morning of this day, to write a post about how my day will go for the sake of keeping myself active here and also because it's been days since I wrote a post.
I did nothing uncommon or special today by the way but I still feel I should share and I hope the more special days will come, to talk about.
If I were home, preparations for church would've started the night before this day, Saturday. But here in school, I just do what I can, maybe praying and playing hymns just to you know, be in the church mood, then after that I enjoy the rest of the day by moving out to watch Saturday EPL matches or doing some things that I've been meaning to do throughout the week.
Well, I ran short of food so I decided to make stew today, bean stew.
I already had my ingredients in the fridge so I just started cutting and mixing things up. In about an hour, I was done with the stew. It's a stew I like, very easy to make and goes along with most foods around. It's a real life saver especially as a student. It's a little cheaper to do too, this one cost me like ghc40.
(Upwards) Start, progress, finish and packaging.
I could feel I was gonna get hungry sooner or later so I cooked some rice, just in case. Sometimes it happens that I don't eat the foods I cook at all, they end up in the fridge till the next day. Other times, I get hungry so suddenly and I just feel I can eat a whole cow! It's always unpredictable so to be on the safer side, I cooked rice.
I ate some with the stew minutes later after the rice was done.
first meal of the day
I didn't feel like going out to watch the Manchester United's match today so watched it on my phone's dstv app. Two wins for the team now and I was very pleased with the results and the efforts that were put in by the players for the win, especially the very new additions.
The app didn't allow screenshots during the match because of policy or some privacy issues.
I watched the EPL matches here
There wasn't much left to do after the match. So I decided to start one of the trending series on Netflix, Love, Death, Robots. I started watching it and I just couldn't stop myself; I got addicted. I think I liked all the episodes I watched. It's my type of shows, gory and scary. I really enjoyed it and I hope you get time to watch it too.
you'll love this
The rest of my day, I went through steemit and made a few curations. It's something I like doing a lot. It helps motivate writers, especially the newbies, to create more posts. I'm usually generous with my votes though they may not fetch that much for the blogger. I always think its fair to support a post which probably lasted for more than an hour before completion; I do my best 🙂.
Thanks for reading,I hope your day was good. May God be with us all 🌹✌🏽🙏🏾
