THE DIARY GAME || 27TH SEPTEMBER, 2022 || MY TUESDAY'S ACTIVITIES IN THE SCHOOL
Written to you all my fellow steemians on this great platform. It is a privilege to get in touch with you again. Today is Tuesday the second day of the working days in the week. I woke up early in the morning and performed all my house chores before leaving the house to school. I got to the school at exactly 7:30 a.m. and assisted my colleagues teachers to supervise the children to sweep the school compound.
DURING THE ASSEMBLY
When it was exactly 8:00, we all went to the assembly ground to listen to the announcement that our head teacher have for us. End assembly ground, the children first sang the national anthem and also said the daily prayers. The teachers inspected the uniform of the children to see or check the neatness. The headteacher came and give us the daily announcements and instructed us too much to our various classrooms.
IN THE CLASSROOM
When I came to the classroom, I started my first lesson at exactly 7:15 a.m. when I finished the lesson, I gave the children some few exercises to do in their exercise book for marking. When it was time for break, I allowed the children to go out for their breakfast. Some of the children we're also playing around as usual. Some of them were playing football especially the boys while the girls were also playing hide and seek and 'ampe'. As we all know, children like playing more than any other things. When they start to play, they don't even want to go to the class again. You cannot also deny them that during the break hours because it is all part of learning.
DURING BREAK HOURS
When it was 12:30 p.m., the Muslims among the children were all matched to the mosque to pray. How was school is Islamic school so they have that special time for prayers. Muslims don't joke with their terms at all. The Muslims among the children who refuse to go to the mosque to pray are normally punished. When it was time for closing, I took my bag and put my belongings in it and went to the station to pick a taxi back home. That was the end of my diary for this special day.
