THE DIARY GAME || 18TH SEPTEMBER, 2022 || COMPASSION [SATURDAY CLASSES FOR THE NEEDY CHILDREN ] CLUB5050 SATURDAY ACTIVITIES.

Hello my dear steemians, I greet you all. Today is a brand new day with full fortune and grace made available by the almighty God in heaven. Today is Sunday, the last day in the week and one of the busiest day among the days in the week. During this day, Christians go to worship God in the Church. Many peoples also use this day for washing of their uniforms and cleaning since the day is a weekend. Others use this day as a resting day to prepare for the next day.

I woke up very early today as usual. Today is Compassion day, a day which we use to serve as volunteer teachers to help the least privilege children. We go there every Saturday to teach them for free because we believe that the God we serve will reward you one day. We believe that, our service to these children will make a good impact in their life's.

TAKING PICTURES WITH THE CHILDREN

These children were selected base on their financial background. We only recruited the children whose parents are not working because of their parents inability to take proper care if their education and needs. Some of the parents are not working because of their health or old age. Some of them too do not have jobs because of the unemployment status in the country.

SOME WERE PLAYING FOOTBALL

When I got to the school, I assisted the other teachers to supervise the children to sweep the compound. After we were done with the cleaning, we ordered the children to go Thier various classes for the morning devotion which they do every morning. After the morning devotion, the children were aloud to go to break. Some of the children went for their breakfast while others were happily playing around.

I went to the children and observed them while they pray. Some of the children are too young and need to be monitored everytime. They may injured themselves when playing so they need to be watched and guided always. I went closer to them and took some pictures of with them. The children were very happy to see me taking pictures of them while they play. Some of the children were playing football while others too playing "Ampe'', a tradition play in Ghana play by only female.

CHILDREN PLAYING SKIPPING

This game is play by two girls at a time. The game is play by clapping their hands while singing a song. When they jump, they raise their leg wether being the right leg or the left one. When they jump and raise their legs towards each other, when the same legs meet at the same time, one have won and when the legs did not match to each other, the other one have also won.

DURING CLOSING

Some of the kids were also playing skipping too. When it was time for their lunch, they all went and took their food. When it was time for closing, we said a prayer and dismissed the children. I came home and have my rest. Thank you for reading my post. I hope you enjoy it.
