Typical Ghanaian Tradition Represented In Dressing

In the xmas eve walking in the high streets of Kumasi. I could count quiet a large number of people dressed in African prints with style.

Though the weather has changed small with a bit of small wind and dry air. In the morning cooled weather brings to bear that, we are entering into Christmas. I feel in love with my white fellows who were actually interested in buying our African designs and trying them in style and smiles.
I was wowed by their enthusiasm. Today happens to be my nieces birthday and we decided to take her out for a while.

I was shocked when all the designs she took today was purely African prints. So we decided to enjoy everything African today. The food we ate and the drinks we took all was Ghanaian especially Asante made food and drinks.

Celebrating xmas now and in the 90s is a bit different especially when you have stayed in a typical village before where there is no light and proper accommodation. Sometime no portable water but we enjoyed because we had family and friends coming together to make merry and also use the opportunity to settle any disputes in the family.

From there, we wanted to make her day memorable so we went for a photoshoot. My concern was not mainly about the photoshoot but to see how she was going to look in her Kente cloth.

Wow my darling loom awesome. She look like a young Akan queen who has just been put on the throne.

The excitement on her face up on till now is amazing. She is sitting in a chair admiring herself in the pictures she took. I believe, we have been able to put some sort of happiness into her life today.
