Basically, Typhoid fever is severe a bacterial infection that occurs in an insanitary environment as a result of contamination of water or food with infected feaces/urine. The organism that causes this disease is called salmonella typhi, and their host could be a sick person, healthy people with the disease and someone recovering from the disease but still passing out an infected feaces/urine. The disease can also be found across the globe, in that case, anyone can get this disease if he/she doesn’t follow the preventive measures . How is this disease transmitted from one person to another?
• You can get it indirectly from contaminated vegetables, fruits, rodents, food and water.
• People who have this disease can easily pass it to others indirectly.
• Eating/drinking of contaminated shellfish/milk products.
• You can also get it from infected person feaces/urine from your bare hands.

Caretakers/parents who do not react early either for treatment or management of this disease can have some of these complications such as;
• Typhoid perforation.
• Inflammation of the heart muscles and the brain.
• Slight deafness as a result of inflammation of the parotid gland.

Hospital is the best place for your first of contacts if you see this signs and symptoms because there are specialist doctors and nurses who are train to treat and confirm this disease. Although, one can also use this as a form of management to any infected person.
 Given him/her enough rest and sleep
 Bathing twice daily for cleanness and reduction of body temperature
 Encourage to take high fluids (ORS) to prevent severe dehydration

I’m very sure you wouldn’t like any of your relative to have this kind of condition and if so, there is need to for us to take personal and environmental hygiene very important to prevent insanitation. So, this are ways we can do to prevent the spread of this diseases and it’s as follows;
