The Diary Game: Outing with the Family

The amazing time I spent with my family was one of the things that made my Christmas extra special. After being away from my family for three months and finally getting to spend some time with them, I'm determined to not waste any time and to make the most of each day.

We decided to go to town this week and have some fun with the kids. My young son enjoys going on adventures, this is seen by his smiles whenever you take him to areas he enjoys visiting.

We decided not to go too far from our place of residence but to take a stroll around town and get some snacks for the kids. Next week, we intend to go shopping and this when we will spend more time outside.

A large number of people were in town, and everyone appears to be busy buying or selling. Because of the holiday season, there is a significant increase in economic activity, causing the various markets to become even more congested.

Our first stop was to Asbys Pharmacy, where we picked up some recommended medication (cough syrup) for the kids. The harmattan is fast approaching and this is always accompanied by the normal cold and cough that comes with the season.

Despite the fact that the cough was not particularly severe, the syrup was intended to aid the children in their fight against it. We then stopped at Shell shop which is a mini supermarket to get some snacks for ourselves.

The little time spent with the family was all fun and it really felt good. You'll never realize how much people love Christmas until you go out into the city or visit different locations.
