Steem Promo: Reuniting Old Steemians - @jeeandmee Back to Steemit

The bond of friendship in the early days of steemit was deep. Steemit was like a home and work place for us and we were one big family that supported each other. We promoted steemit at every nooks and crannies of our cities, towns, colleges and universities. We had students, businessmen and women in Steemit Ghana.

It was through one of our steem promo activities in Schools that brought Dorcas (@jeeandmee) to Steemit. She was a student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and has recently graduated and now doing her national service.

Dorcas has been very instrumental to the growth of steemit Ghana community and her absence was indeed felt when became engaged with studies and work. She has played a major role in our meetups, steem promos and the organization of steem Ghana community.

I chatted with her to join us on steemit again. I was indeed happy about her positive response and her readiness to join us again now that she has graduated from school. Dorcas unlike most women has loved cryptocurrency and has been different from day one. She easily mingled with us and showed the desire to learn and to know more.

We had a tough time on steemit three years ago, it was so hard getting votes in those times unless you know or have a strong connection with a steemit whale. Dorcas like myself had it the hard way on Steemit but we still Steemed on.

I'm happy she's back today. I think it's time we double or triple the number of steemians on steemit by inviting new members as well as the old. Let's keep the promo activity alive.
