THE DIARY GAME (12/08/2022): MY JOURNEY TO BOLGA

Day break Africa. I woke up to another brand new day with the sun rising above the horizon. I had already said my dawn prayers earlier.

I rose up at 6:00 am but was feeling too tired and lazy to hit the gym. I had a busy day ahead of me as I was to go to Bolgatanga; the Upper East Regional Capital to do some follow up on some letters i sent to MTN Bolga branch.

I finally gathered some courage to rise up at 9:00am and began my necessary preparations for my journey.

I brushed my teeth, bathed and took a breakfast of Tea and bread.I left Navrongo for Bolgatanga at around 10:40am and arrived in Bolga at around 11:20am. The journey is about 35km.

I stopped at a printing press to print a copy of the letters I presented earlier to MTN for reference sake and headed of to the main branch of the MTN office in Bolga.

At MTN main office, the place was congested and I was able to see the manager after an hour. The feedback on the letter was positive.

Today been Friday, I had to rush back to Navrongo in order to perform Jummu’ah prayers in congregation. I took of at 12:20pm and arrived at Navrongo exactly 12:52pm just on time for the Jumu’ah prayers.

After prayers I took Lunch of spaghetti “Jollof” since I was very hungry. I took my siesta time seriously since I was very tired.

In the evening, I went to the park to play my favorite game of football. The game was very exciting and I even scored a goal.

Later in the night, I took a supper of fried rice and chicken.

I said my prayers, revised my Arabic notes, browsed through social media and went to sleep. The day was very tiresome.
