PREPARATION FOR COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Hello steemians,

This post is about a proposed donation to an orphanage by the steemit members in the Northern regional capital; Tamale to be precise.

Members of steemit have decided to give back to the community on the form of a donation to on orphanage in Tamale, which is called Nyohini Children's Home.

This donation would be in a form of food items with the aim of helping the children to celebrate the upcoming EID-UL-FITR in style and not be left out of this year's celebration.

With some of the steemit members, we decided to go to the market to acquire the items for the donation due tomorrow.

Below are our dealings at the market in pictures.

● We first purchased two 25kg of rice, a 10 litre gallon of oil, spaghetti and tin tomatoes.

At the marketplace

● We then looked for a tricycle to enable us convey the items to our destination.

● On our way home, we stopped to purchase some soft drinks and candies in addition to the food items that would be used as refreshment by the children after a successful celebration.

The tricycle successfully conveyed our items to our destination which was the house of one of our members to be housed and taken to the orphanage tomorrow.

We successfully offloaded the items to be kept in the store room.
