Don't Forget Your Heritage...
We all come from somewhere, we all have some form of history guiding our path, we all have something that defines us truly, we all have some form of ancestry and these things and more are what form what we call our heritage. And our heritage is not one to be trifled with or taken for granted for losing your heritage means you lose your history.
These things are very much important, we ought to know where we are from that way we would be able to better understand where we belong to. You may think that the world is a global village now and that you can travel anywhere and belong just like that but truth be told it is not as simple as sometimes we may it seem.
Our elders say that there's no place like home and they couldn't have said it any better or it couldn't have been truer, you find more belonging where you hail from, from your roots, from your ancestry, this is where love is born for you, and this where nature and nurture fought to define the beautiful you have turned into today.
And so today, I remind every one of us not to forget where we hail from, not to forget our ancestry, not to forget our past, for they will help us find our feet and our future and we will learn from our mistakes and that of our ancestors and together forge a better path for the next generation to come...
